WhatsApp Business
Which features does a WhatsApp business account offer? We have explained why you, as a retailer or restaurant owner, should enable your customers to reach you via WhatsApp: To be where more than 2 billion WhatsApp users worldwide are, where they chat with their friends’ video call their families. Your customers or guests are surely online on WhatsApp as well and your business account offers them the familiar option of conveniently contacting you.
You should know these 4 features:
1. Company Profile
As on Google, Facebook and Instagram you can create a business profile for your store or restaurant that provides your customers or those who want to become such, helpful first information. Being specific and accurate in address, business description, email address and website helps brands earn customer loyalty. A company profile gives the company a familiar “face” and a familiar identity. You can get verified by WhatsApp so that your business gets the “Verified” badge on WhatsApp.
2. Quick answers
Today’s consumer is impatient. Therefore, keeping your customers happy requires quick responses. You can use the quick answers to frequently asked, general questions, so-called FAQs, for a WhatsApp company account even faster. You can save and reuse frequently sent messages. So, if the fifth customer asks you on a day whether you have the new iPhone in stock, you can type “/” on your keyboard, select and send “Unfortunately not at the moment. We will receive the next delivery on June 7th. Visit our shop if you want us to reserve one for you or to check out an alternative for you.“
3. Automatic welcome message
With WhatsApp for Business, you can create a welcome message that your customers will automatically receive when they start a dialogue with your business or after 14 days of inactivity. By sending an instant message, you greet your customer or prospect and briefly introduce them without any delays or waiting times: “Hi, we are happy that you contact us and will be there for you personally in a moment. Check out our menu in the meantime – we have delicious weekly specials.“
4. Out of office message
Out-of-office messages are like welcome messages, only sent outside of working hours. You send a custom message to people who try to contact your business after your working hours. You can write a custom message or send your working hours and activate the chosen time. “Dear customer. We are happy to be back for you tomorrow from 9 a.m. Your request will not be lost. We will answer it as soon as we have opened our shop for you again.“
*For reasons of better legibility only the simultaneous use of male and female language forms is not used. All personal names apply to both genders.
